The Meaning Of Life

Read the book "The Meaning of Life."  The theology is a bit off (ok not written from a Christian perspective) but the pictures are halarious (and they glorify God) and the author has some pretty good perspectives spread throughout.  However, it is clear that God is not intended to be the "Meaning of Life."  I liked it though.

More and more I amazed at God.  He loves us so much more than I could ever imagine or even begin to fathom.  I don't get Him most of the time.  I don't know why He loves me, especially in times of failure.  He's trying to teach me about His grace and love and the importance of growing deeper every single day.  There's no room for a break.  The challenge right now is to grow everyday and not loose focus on the mundane and worthless idols of society.  It's exciting!  God amazes me.

Feels Like Home

Amy and I have spent the last few days in Fort Wayne with her family.  Her cousin, who is my soon to be cousin woohoo, got married down in Marion on Saturday.  I love going to weddings and watching the groom.  I have two favorite parts.  1). Watching his face when he sees his bride coming down the aisle.  2). Watching them both dance during "their" dance at the reception.  Oh how excited I am to marry Amy!  We are ready and this weekend just made us want it to be here now!  We are tired of waiting!

These next few weeks are going to be busy.  I've got some major projects due and a bunch of minor homework assignments that will take up my time.

97 days and counting...

Not much new to say...

I can't focus nor can I get motivated to finish my last five weeks and five days of classes...ever!  That sounds so very exciting!  Finally, after 18 years of non-stop school I will be able to experience no homework.  Woohoo!

I'm going to quit my quasi-part-time job on Friday.  Since I have a full-time job (have I mentioned this yet?) cleaning carpets come May, there is no need to continue working at Barnes and Noble.  I will miss the ministry opportunities that I had there though, however, wherever I go I know God will provide opportunities to spread His Word.

In 29 days Amy and I are on our way to Wichita over Easter Break.  We are both looking forward to it soooooooo much!  I miss my friends, my second family really, in Wichita.  We really want to spend some good quality time with Joel and Becca as well as others in the Cornerstone family, but I hate to mention any more specific names for fear that I leave someone out!  Also, one of my fears is that I am going to forget people's names, people that I should not forget, when I am introducing Amy to them!  Pray for me!  haha...well, there are better things to pray for than that but if you are led by the Spirit to pray then go right ahead!  Finally, I would like to show Amy some parts of the town and where I was spending my time this past summer.  Can you believe it's been almost a year since I was out there!  Maybe we can get a feel for some of the housing (hint, hint, wink, wink) that is available.  We'll see what God does.

Oh yeah...I'm feeling much better.  I took some of my dad's all natural supplements and they did an amazing job.  Later my friends...
